{Matters of the art}: Father's Day presents

Last Christmas, I made lists of presents based on famous paintings that either inspire my own work or simply make me smile. And as Father's Day approaches, I have decided to get back to this series. 

This list is inspired by Belgian surrealist artist René Magritte's painting entitled "Perspicacity" (La Clairvoyance, 1936), which is one of my all-time favorites: it presents the artist's ability to see beyond what is, understand the essence of things, and express his/her interpretation of it.
