Pink champagne + chocolate

One thing I keep bringing to my friends and relatives everytime I go to London - this habit started many years ago when I lived there -, is the pink marc de champagne chocolate from Charbonnel & Walker. I buy their pink champagne truffles as well as their pink champagne bars, and both are always met with great success. This year, I am ordering more for the holiday season...

Grace: A memoir

One book I must offer myself for Christmas is Grace: A memoir. If you're a little interested by fashion, then you must know that Grace Coddington is the creative director of US Vogue. This is a person whose sense of style and visual aesthetics I admire; and as a creative person myself, I love to learn from other people's creative process as well as the stories behind their art. All good reasons to make me want to indulge in this book.

A Dior christmas

I'm loving Dior's collaboration with Parisian department store Le Printemps for Christmas. New Year, new beginnings

Happy new year, dear readers!

I love January because we can visualize everything we wish this new year to be filled with: healthier food choices, regular sports activities, more pampering, more traveling, more fulfilling career choices, etc. Well, this is really what I wish for myself and for all of you.

I'll add just one more thing: be on time! Punctuality is key when success is the objective. And you must admit that this Atlas travel alarm clock from Tiffany that I have added to my wish list is all you need to make being on time look très chic!

May 2011 be filled with love,  joy and success!

Ice hotel

It is snowing here in Europe, but I am glad for the warmth and coziness that I am enjoying inside my family home with loved ones. If I were more adventurous, I'd travel to Sweden and stay at the Ice Hotel, a hotel built of ice and snow, where clients sleep in rooms which have a temperature of -5°c (23°F). Those bedrooms (see picture above) are beautiful, aren't they?
