I love bougainvillea so much that I cannot imagine not being surrounded by them at least once a year. I've been used to have them in the garden since I was a little girl, and now, even though I live in an apartment, I am still lucky enough to travel to places where I keep them in my life. Even indirectly.
With that being said, I love this picture (above) of Audrey Hepburn surrounded by these gorgeous pink bougainvillea. The second image is one I took last summer in Algarve, Portugal, in the gardens of the Vilalara Resort. Isn't it gorgeous?
