In his "a spring in New York" series, Fred Lebain took clichés of the city during a first visit and printed them in large posters. During his second visit, he returned to the same places with his posters, and took pictures of the images aligned with the original scenes, sometimes even taking pictures of him holding the posters. Fun and beautiful. Via designboon.
