Set on the prestigious Passeig de Gràcia, the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona Hotel was built in the former head offices of a bank. The decor, by Patricia Urquiola, is definitely contemporary and surprising with some visual hints at the former owners, like the safe deposit boxes on the ceiling of the... Banker's Bar.
